HUFFLEPUFF. It seems there is something to those super-scientific Sorting Hat quizzes, because this is the single best word to describe me. I'm a hardworking perfectionist and I'm fiercely loyal to friends. And if you subscribe more to the Being Human image of a Hufflepuff (rather than the Harry Potter one) it still holds true: I quite happily spend my day making stuff with glitter and safety scissors. | ARTIST. That's right... I was serious about being perfectly happy spending my time with glitter and safety scissors! I no longer paint, but I've acquired a new creative pursuit (sewing), spent a good part of last year learning origami, and dabble a bit with digital graphics. I share icons, layouts, and whatnot at my design community  stelladesigns. | FAN. My fandom of choice is Doctor Who. At the moment I'm working my way through the classic serials in my Classic Who (Re)Watch. Presently my non-Who obsessions include Leverage, The LXD, Merlin, NCIS:LA and Psych. I read an absurd amount of fanfic; here are a few of my favorite stories regardless of fandom, pairing, or rating. | GEEK. Beyond my love for all things art and Doctor Who, I also have love for all things open-source. I ♥ GIMP, OpenOffice, Sugar-on-a-Stick, and Ubuntu... (Mind you, liking these programs and operating systems doesn't mean I understand them!) I also count genealogy as a favorite hobby, spent several years studying art history, and (yes, I admit it) occasionally wander around wikipedia just for fun. | WRITER. I'm currently writing The Tenth Doctor at Tempus_Alternat.
